Gray’s NBC affiliate in Fargo is supporting a message of unity by the Fargo Police Department.“Stations shouldn’t be afraid to partner with the men and women who keep us safe and put their lives on the line every day in order to bring the community together to do something that is meaningful for the community,” said Ike Walker, KVLY’s news director.
That’s the message in this video, part of The Unity initiative by the Fargo Police Department and rapper DPB (with Bartlett Productions) to promote unity everywhere.
And KVLY, Gray’s NBC affiliate in Fargo, N.D., supports the message of unity.
“Positive community events like this are important especially at a time when society is so divided,” said Ike Walker, KVLY’s news director.
“Stations shouldn’t be afraid to partner with the men and women who keep us safe and put their lives on the line every day in order to bring the community together to do something that is meaningful for the community.”
KLVY’s Valley News Live has donated swag for the officers to share with the kids at community events and school assemblies, donated air time on its lifestyle show, North Dakota Today, and has shared the video on social media.
