No May sweeps spots today, and as we’re halfway through the May sweeps rating period, I thought I’d post some videos just for fun.
By the way, I have heard from some of you that you are enjoying the May sweeps spots I’m posting, and thanks to those who have submitted examples to me. I am also trying to follow up and link to the stories that are promoted in the spots.
If you haven’t submitted any on-line links to examples, now is the time.
Here’s what I need — a YouTube or Vimeo or website links to any examples you want to share, along with a short explanation about it if you want.
I’ll share one of mine every day as well. Look for more examples every afternoon.
For competitive reasons, it might be best to submit only those promos that are already on your air. Make sure you get the permission of station management.
My email and phone number are at the top of the column.
Meanwhile, back to the fun. I know this one has been around a while, but I still get a kick out of it. It has more than 15 million views.
Sarah Jessica Parker answers 73 questions in about five minutes revealing everything from her distaste for parsley, love of Greece and bias of globes that glow.
This is just a compilation of some amazing human feats — some of these will really stick with you.

I admit I don’t know much about Justin Timberlake, but he comes off pretty cool in this video. A lucky fan, who thought she was being interviewed for a music documentary, received the surprise of a lifetime — the opportunity to play an original song for Timberlake and have him jam with her!

Here are some examples of great aerial photos.
And finally, a behind-the-scenes video with the master control operators at KRUD-TV. I don’t know who these guys are and sometimes it’s best not to ask too many questions.
