This Saturday at 7:30 p.m., ABC-owned WPVI Philadelphia, will air an episode of Visions 2014, a half-hour program that it presents three times a year. The focus this week is on Asian Pacific heritage to commemorate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month in May.

Visions “presents stories about under-represented and diverse communities across the Delaware Valley,” said the show’s host, WPVI anchor reporter Eva Pilgrim.
“Much of what Action News has always been known for is its community involvement. It’s a chance for us to connect with viewers, an opportunity to share a common experience.”

Visions started in 1982 as a weekly public affairs series focusing on stories from diverse communities. The program focuses on Hispanic Heritage in September and African-American Heritage in February.
