WMAR, the Scripps-owned ABC affiliate in Baltimore, will air news stories in every newscast today about Maryland veterans in honor of Veterans Day.
Starting at 4:30 this morning, the station is providing extensive coverage of local Veterans Day ceremonies, and an in-depth look at veterans healthcare including medical advancements the VA hospital is making to improve their lives.
WMAR’s 6 p.m. news program, In Focus, will dedicate the entire show to veteran issues and local veterans will be on hand in the studio to watch the broadcast live.
