I’m thinking a date with Ellen DeGeneres would be a hoot.
If you’re single, 18 or older, live anywhere on the East Coast and are interested in going on a first date, Ellen DeGeneres wants to talk to you.
Well, not Ellen personally but the casting producers for First Dates, a show Ellen’s producing that’s coming out on NBC, are looking for applicants.
First Dates, which bills itself as an observational documentary series, Hollywood-speak for a reality show, says they’ll set up people with similar interests and tastes, and send them to a restaurant to film what sparks may fly.
There’s no competition, no eliminations and where it goes from there is up to you.
Apparently, the show is based on a hit series from the U.K.
