CLTV, Chicago’s 24-hour cable news channel owned by Tribune Broadcasting, launched an hour-long nightly sports talk show, Sports Feed, which airs Sunday through Thursday at 7 p.m.
Sports Feed is CLTV’s new “informative, interactive and fast-paced sports show that will focus on Chicago sports and its fans,” says Jennifer Lyons, WGN-CLTV news director.
Coverage will include all teams broadcast on co-owned WGN: Cubs, White Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks, as well as the other Chicago pro teams like the Bears, along with college and high school teams.
Sports Feed launched June 14, just prior to the Chicago Blackhawks winning the NHL’s Stanley Cup.
WGN is televising the Blackhawks Stanley Cup Parade Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Celebrate the Cup will be seen live on WGN, CLTV and WGNtv.com, streaming to any device.
Coverage will include highlights of the Blackhawks’ successful journey from their regular season to the playoffs and Final.
Reporters will be stationed along the parade route to talk with fans and capture the energy of the crowd.
