We’re right in the middle of the political process that ultimately leads to the election of our next president into the White House.
While the general election is the day most of us get to cast our vote, there are a lot of twists and turns along the way that the candidates have to negotiate before their name appears on the ballot.
We just had the Iowa Caucus and the New Hampshire primary. North Carolina and Nevada are next.
Philadelphians who want more insight into the electoral process can take an interactive journey thanks to a timely new exhibit at Philadelphia’s National Constitution Center opening today.
Headed to the White House, was created by the National Constitution Center and uses artifacts, interactive modules, multimedia and role-playing opportunities to guide visitors along the campaign trail and into the Oval Office.
The Democrats hold their convention in Philadelphia in July.
“The National Constitution Center has a valuable outreach partner in NBC10 and Telemundo62,” said Vince Stango, the National Constitution Center’s COO.
“Partnering with the National Constitution Center provides [co-owned] NBC10 [WCAU] and Telemundo62 [WWSI] access to historians and Constitutional experts with unique insight into the electoral process,” said Anzio Williams, WCAU’s news director.
“We are especially excited to be able to share these insights with both our English- and Spanish-speaking audiences.”
