Today in Chicago, a fresh new approach to morning news begins.
It’s called The Jam and it launched on WCIU, The U, an independent station owned by Weigel Broadcasting.
Hosted by Jordan Cornette, Felicia Lawrence and Danielle Robay, The Jam airs weekdays from 6 to 8 a.m.
“The Jam represents the core of what it means to be a Chicagoan,” says Steve Bailey, WCIU’s programming and creative head.
“It’s upbeat, it’s witty, it’s fearless, it’s in your face and its community oriented. Our hosts are unapologetic in their delivery and tapped into what’s going on around the city.”
