Earlier this month, the Lone Star Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded NBC/Telemundo stations in Texas a combined total of 61 Lone Star Emmy Awards.

KTLM wins this award for the second consecutive year for the same community service campaign focusing on college financial aid.
The El Poder en Ti, Ayuda Financiera was a three-month awareness campaign that motivates students to apply to receive college financial aid. The campaign was supported by on air promos, outdoor marketing, social media, news stories, PSA’s and phone banks.
