The late Lee Minard, a TV marketing genius since the early 1970’s, was honored with the PromaxBDA Lifetime Achievement Award in Las Vegas Thursday during the annual PromaxBDA Station Summit.
Lee died in 2017.
Lee’s wife, Maryalice, accepted the award from Stephen Arnold, President of Stephen Arnold Music.
Lee’s career included working at TV stations in Baltimore, Detroit, Denver, Dallas and New York, and also a couple years at the Food Network.
In a moving video tribute to Lee, friends and co-workers praised Lee’s leadership, keen eye, creativity, and brilliance. But mostly, they admired his dignified, quiet manner. The video was produced by Dave Bauman from Stephen Arnold Music. Vic Caroli voiced the project and Katlyn Ness from KNXV, ABC 15 in Phoenix, did the editing.
