Shoppers take a selfie in front of the machine and then post it on Twitter or Instagram, and voila, a free t-shirt dispenses from the machine.
WDTN, Nexstar’s NBC affiliate in Dayton, Ohio, came up with an innovative way to give out free I Love Dayton T-shirts at the Dayton Mall last week.
An interactive vending machine.
Shoppers take a selfie in front of the machine and then post it on Twitter or Instagram, and voila, a free shirt dispenses from the machine.
No word on how many T-shirts were given away in total, but at least 20 people had their selfie’s posted to WDTN’s website.
As one user posted on WDTN’s Facebook page, Do they have a “I’m so-so with Dayton” shirt?
