Chrissy Funk, WPEC’s creative service director, says her creative team worked crazy shifts, shooting all hours, to gather imagery for this brand campaign featuring custom music from Noise Distillery.
WPEC, Sinclair’s CBS affiliate in West Palm Beach, Fla., turned to Noise Distillery to compose a new custom song that invites viewers to turn to the station, branded as CBS12, for news.
But it’s not the first time the station has used a theme song based on its channel number.
Chrissy Funk, WPEC’s creative service director, had this to say about the song and how the station captured its message in the imagery.
This has been such a fun and rewarding project to be a part of (and it’s not over yet)!
The CBS12 News creative team has worked crazy shifts, shooting all hours, to gather imagery for this brand campaign.
Promotion Manager, John Gilliam, got in a cage with an alligator for a special moment, who does that?
Luckily him, the gator and FujiXH1 were safe through it all.
Then, Promotion Producer, Kyle LaCkore, busted out a Sony A73 to ensure we captured certain light just right.
Oh, and of course we couldn’t resist a beauty shot with our drone. That would be a disservice of course 😊
As for the song composition, Noise Distillery helped us bring the vision to life.
Rich and his team are phenomenal to work with and yes, they tolerated how much I wanted to be involved in the process. And all my edit requests.
Lot’s more to be rolled out in the coming weeks. CBS12 News is on fire!
Noise Distillery, according to its Facebook page, makes super duper awesome custom music for films, video games, commercials, teevee shows, radio shows, podcasts, webisodes, vlogs, live events, and more.
