South Florida’s WSVN, the Fox affiliate owned by Sunbeam, is looking for a creative services director to continue its tradition of innovative promos, eye-catching visuals, and cutting-edge set designs.
OK, I lied about the yacht. It was a cheap gimmick to get your attention and I hope it worked.
And hey, everything’s negotiable.
South Florida’s No. 1 news station, WSVN, the Fox affiliate owned by Sunbeam, is looking for a creative services director to continue its tradition of innovative promos, eye-catching visuals and cutting-edge set designs.

And you’ll live in one of America’s great cities.
Miami. Even if you’ve never set foot in Florida, you know what’s good about Miami.
White sand beaches, the blue Atlantic and warm sunshine all year round.
Surfing, boating, fishing, lounging, golfing, tennis, biking — you name it, they’ve got it in Miami.
It’s a seaport, an international city, with the third-tallest skyline in America, and is one of the major tourist destinations in the States.
Sunscreen, surfboard, a Spanish-English dictionary, a taste for Cuban cuisine, a sense of fashion and a love of nightlife must all fit in your suitcase.
Be prepared to have obscure friends and relatives suddenly want to visit you in the winter months. Like me.
And if that yacht thing doesn’t work out, the average rent for an apartment in Miami is $1,500, depending; the median home value in Miami is $336,800, depending.
But you can find live-aboard boats tied up in a marina for around $1,000 a month.
NOTE: There’s no state income tax in Florida. I lived in Florida — Fort Myers and Orlando — and loved it. Great weather, multi-cultural, water, sand, outdoor living, there’s so much to recommend it.
