WKCF or CW 18, Hearst‘s CW affiliate in beautiful Orlando, Fla., needs an experienced local account executive.
Orlando is the land of year-round sunshine, beaches, theme parks and no state income tax. If you are ready to take your career to the next level while working and living in an incredible environment, then contact Samantha Johnson, local sales manager, at [email protected].
Samantha said it best about Orlando: year-round sunshine, beaches, theme parks and no state income tax. Everybody knows Orlando is a real Mickey Mouse place for visitors. But when you live there, there’s so much more than theme parks. I know because I lived there for five years. If you live north of downtown, you hardly ever see a tourist.
The Atlantic beaches, take your pick, are just 45 minutes away. Winters are glorious. There are an abundance of lakes and small towns like Winter Park worth exploring. Trust me, you’ll never run out of things to do and if you do, there’s always the theme parks.

Des Moines is listed as the ninth best place to live according to U.S. News & World Report. Elegant Colonial and Tudor-style homes built in the early 1900s hide in quiet neighborhoods minutes from buzzy downtown, where lofts and condos draw the millennial crowd. Many families with kids flock to the suburbs where new housing developments continually pop up.
And there’s plenty to do and see in Des Moines. Cultural events and festivals draw all ages to the downtown area. One-of-a-kind shops, locally owned restaurants and hip bars enliven entertainment districts. And plenty of bike trails and parks (and even a few lakes) provide opportunities for outdoor recreation. The metro area of more than 600,000 has a small-town, know-your-neighbor feel to it.
It’s a place where you’ll bump into people you know at the grocery store and get invited to backyard barbecues. Newcomers, take note: The people of Des Moines are some of the nicest you’ll ever meet. Iowa is the place where future presidents shake hands and kiss babies, where buying corn from strangers on the side of the road is encouraged, and where bacon and morel mushrooms are worshipped.
The median price for a house in Des Moines is about $170,000 and average rent is about $800 a month.
