Kingston is a suburb of Providence and is one of the best places to live in Rhode Island. Living in Kingston offers residents a suburban feel and most residents own their homes. With the University of Rhode Island campus falling within the suburb, there are plenty of evening activities and great opportunities to socialize. Indianapolis is a great place to live, says U.S. News & World Report.  Home to one of the world’s largest children’s museums, as well as professional and college sports teams and miles of recreational trails, the Circle City has plenty to keep locals entertained.

The city’s lively downtown is easily walkable. With so many things to do, Indianapolis allows its residents to experience big-city living without too much effort. The metro area includes an array of neighborhoods and suburbs, and many offer their own shopping and entertainment venues. Even so, suburbanites still venture downtown for its shops, theaters and restaurants.

Indianapolis is often referred to as the Racing Capital of the World thanks to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which takes up 560 acres on the west side of the city. Every May, hundreds of thousands of people show up to watch the largest-attended sporting event in the U.S., the Indianapolis 500.

Sports in general play a huge role in the region’s economy. By hosting other major sporting events, like NCAA tournaments and the 2012 Super Bowl, Indianapolis has benefited in the multimillion-dollar range from increased business opportunities, job creation and more taxes going directly to the metro area.

The median home price for a house is about $173,000 and monthly rent is about $860.

KETV, the Hearst ABC affiliate in Omaha, Neb., and KCCI, the Hearst CBS affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa, need an experienced regional research director who will analyze all ratings and research information to design compelling stories for the station’s sellers and outside promotion. This position will be located in Omaha, but will require some travel to KCCI in Des Moines as well.

This is a great opportunity to join one of the broadcast industry’s most respected companies, Hearst Television. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Nielsen software, Marshall Marketing, Kantar and Wide Orbit Media Sales.  The ability to translate digital research into meaningful stories to support cost platform sales projects will also be important for this role. This position is actively engaged in providing relevant research and strategic guidance to the stations’ news, programming and creative services departments. The ideal candidate will be analytical, creative and proactive.

Omaha has long been a place of convergence, according to U. S. News & World Report.  In the mid-1800s, it served as the easternmost point of the first transcontinental railroad. Today, its location at the heart of the country has earned Omaha a reputation as a flyover city. But those who live in Omaha know there’s more to this metro area than most outsiders realize.

It’s a region that celebrates and treasures the past, while also warmly embracing change and growth. The metro area that once brought you TV dinners and Reuben sandwiches now houses fancy seafood restaurants and hip vegan options (though you’ll never have trouble finding a hearty steak).

And while ranchers continue to raise cattle on the sprawling prairies surrounding the region, Omaha proper has begun to attract a number of budding new tech startups. Affordability and a strong economy attract young professionals, while safety, a plethora of education options and family-friendly activities are appealing to those with kids.
