The coldest temperature ever recorded in Albuquerque, N.M., was -7 degrees. Not the kind of weather for kids to be outside without a warm coat.
So for the past 30 years, KOAT, Hearst’s ABC affiliate in Albuquerque, has ran a campaign to help those in need have a good coat.
And KOATs for Kids drive is at it again this year, launching their campaign to collect and donate coats across New Mexico to support the physical, emotional and social needs of children in the community.
