KELO, Nexstar’s dual CBS-MNT affiliate in Sioux Falls, S.D., had just the right sign for people in their community who might be looking for hope during the coronavirus crisis.
All it took was flipping a switch. The station turned on the decorative lights to its 200-foot tall tower, known as the KELOLAND Holideck Tower, as a tribute to all those working to curb the spread of the virus.
Normally turned on only during the Christmas season, the lights will remain on 24 hours a day as a sign of hope for the community.
