New jobs posted to TVNewsCheck’s Media Job Center include openings for a news director, a newscast producer and a multimedia account executive. All three openings are at WWSB in Sarasota, Fla.

In sales, the station needs a multimedia account executive, and in news, it’s looking for a news director and news producer. For over 40 years WWSB, ABC7 has been the local news leader for Sarasota and Manatee counties along Florida’s Suncoast.
For the mltimedia account executive position, WWSB needs a dynamic self-motivated individual with sales experience to join its team of media sales professionals. The position is responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts while developing new business by providing excellent customer service and offering multi-platform advertising solutions which include broadcast television and an extensive suite of digital media solutions. WWSB is seeking a “hands-on” news director who cares strongly about local news, and who has a successful track record of driving content in a diverse, multi-platform environment. The news director is responsible for news and content creation and ratings and audience growth across all platforms.
