WBRC, Gray’s Fox affiliate in Birmingham, Ala., plans to debut a four-spot weather image campaign on Sunday during the Super Bowl titled “Knowing First Is Everything.”
An estimated 192.9 million U.S. adults plan to tune in to the big game on Fox.
“This was a different type of campaign, built to not look or feel like a local news promo and to create a ‘stop and look’,” says Nate Mills, WBRC’s creative services director. “We shot these all in one shot, utilizing people to tell the authentic story of how weather impacts our lives in different ways. These were built with no music, just NAT sound and voice-overs to connect with the viewer.”
