Women’s History Month stories will air in the local newscasts of the eight ABC Owned Stations, and be available on ABC’s Localish channel as well as the eight ABC Owned Stations’ 24/7 live and local streaming channels, websites, mobile apps and connected TV apps on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV
On March 8, Sade Baderinwa, WABC New York’s anchor and reporter, will deliver welcome remarks at the General Assembly Hall, United Nations Headquarters for the United Nations Observance of International Women’s Day 2023 on March 8.
The theme this year is “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality.” Baderinwa will also host a panel with international women innovators, politicians and communityadvocates.
Tamron Hall is hosting a Women’s History Month special, Our America: Women on a Roll, which will air across the ABC Owned Television Stations and will be available on digital and streaming platforms.
In this Women’s History Month special, Hall will lace up her skates and explore how women have used skating as a platform to express their beliefs, form unbreakable bonds, and bring joy to themselves and their communities.
ABC’s Localish channel will also broadcast other feel-good features highlighting extraordinary women across America throughout the month.
And each of Disney Network’s eight ABC O&Os will be providing local coverage of Women’s History Month. Those stations are WABC New York, KABC Los Angeles, WLS-TV Chicago, WPVI Philadelphia, KGO-TV San Francisco, KTRK Houston, WTVD Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and KFSN Fresno, Calif.
