TV marketing executives who attend Programming Everywhere will see what TV station groups are planning to reinvent local news and extend content on streaming media, and how marketing will lead the way.
TV marketing executives who attend TVNewsCheck’s ‘Programming Everywhere’ conference will get an exclusive look into what TV station groups are planning to reinvent local news and extend streaming media.
The ‘Programming Everywhere’ is an all-day event, a TVNewsCheck conference presented on the eve of the NAB Show on Sunday, April 15, in Las Vegas.

“Programming Everywhere is the first event of its kind,” says Michael Depp, TVNewsCheck editor and a moderator at Programming Everywhere.
TV station group senior executives along with programming, news and marketing leaders, syndicated programming executives and streaming media and technology leaders will gather to talk about the evolution of broadcasting, transforming television news and strategies for creating a content everywhere business.
Broadcast group VPs of marketing and local station creative services directors in attendance will see what’s next, what’s new, what’s changing and how marketing will lead the way.
“News organizations are very keen to move beyond the era of ‘if it bleeds, it leads’ and towards greater relevance and trust with their viewers, who are now scattered across many platforms,” Depp says of one panel, Fresh Approaches to the News Franchise. “This discussion will focus on organizations building exciting alternatives to the conventional newscast, drawing on core strengths like investigative reporting to create content with a long tail, wide cross-market resonance and strong appeal to younger viewers.”
TVNewsCheck will be rolling out previews from session speakers over the next few weeks to give attendees a taste of what the full sessions will cover.
Here’s Jamie Gray, managing editor for InvestigateTV at Gray Television, with a preview of her session on refreshing the news franchise.
