Gray’s CBS and Fox affiliates in Wausau, Wis., collected donations totaling more than $100,000 as part of their annual Share Your Holidays campaign. This is the 17th year for Share Your Holidays and brings the total for all the years combined to more than $818,000.

“The team did a great job on social media,” said Wendy Bernier, KVLY’s creative services director, “relaying information about road closures, troubles facing state troopers, and the overall message of, stay home, stay safe and know conditions are dangerous. They tackled every closing and delay that came into the newsroom and kept viewers informed.”
The four-and-a-half-hour broadcast will ring in 2020 with viewers in Nevada, California, Washington, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Hawaii and Oregon.
Nexstar Media is co-hosting a New Year’s Eve special with KXAS, the NBC O&O in Dallas, that will air across 21 Nexstar markets throughout Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma reaching nearly eight million U.S. households. This is the third annual exclusive programming partnership between Nexstar and KXAS.
