Local TV is a billion dollar business. Broadcast companies spend that much to acquire other broadcast companies and manage billions of dollars in yearly revenue. But I wondered, for all those billions of dollars, what would just $100 buy the average TV station?
TVNewsCheck has extended the special rate of $99 for a two-week job posting through June 30. It also added a package discount — three individual two-week postings for $249.
New jobs posted to TVNewsCheck’s Media Job Center include openings for general managers, meteorologists, news producers, digital content creators, assistant news directors, multimedia journalists, assignment editors and chief engineers from Dallas to Dubuque, from Lansing to Lafayette.
The Nexstar Media Group is TVNewsCheck’s Station Group of the Year for 2019. Nexstar is looking for two general managers for its TV operations in Indianapolis and Champaign, Illinois.
