New jobs posted to TVNewsCheck’s Media Job Center include openings for a director of creative services, several sales managers, a digital content manager, executive news producers, a weekend anchor, an MMJ and a business affairs VP.

Veteran marketing and creative executive Drew Fowler has been named marketing director for Nexstar Media’s Indianapolis businesses: WXIN (Fox 59), WTTV (CBS 4) and their respective websites.

New jobs posted to TVNewsCheck’s Media Job Center include openings for a digital sales director, three VP-market managers and a marketing director.

TV stations across the country continue to lead efforts to help those in need in their communities in a variety of ways.

The program will feature accounts from frontline workers in the health industry, detailing what they have experienced day to day since the beginning of the pandemic.

“We’ve gotten great feedback from our viewers who have grown up watching this iconic local station and have enjoyed revisiting these fond memories from over the years,” said Katie Warthan, WTTV Indianapolis’ promotions manager.

The Nexstar Media Group is TVNewsCheck’s Station Group of the Year for 2019. Nexstar is looking for two general managers for its TV operations in Indianapolis and Champaign, Illinois.

WTTV collected, organized and distributed 10,000 books to Indianapolis public schools as part of a new program, CBS4 Reads Book Drive. “The community’s reaction to help give students free books in Central Indiana was overwhelming,” said Kerri Cavanaugh, WTTV’s VP of news.
