This past week on TVNewsCheck’s Media Job Center, Tegna, Cox, Hearst, Gray and Quincy have posted job openings at stations in Biringham, Orlando, Phoenix and Waterloo, Iowa.
Close to 1,100 Alabamians made donations during the one-day fund raising event and several local corporate donors assisted in fundraising efforts. “In times of need the people of Alabama unite around each other and we truly want to thank our audience and corporate partners for their generosity ” said Susana Schuler, WVTM’s general manager.
WTVM Birmingham, Ala., held a telethon to collect funds for Hurricane Michael relief, and Wells Fargo donated $500,000. “We remain committed to helping during this time of recovery and will continue to support communities across Alabama during this tremendous time of need,” said Leigh Collier, Wells Fargo Central Alabama Region Bank president.
