Ed Tudor has a new title at WVEC, Gannett’s ABC affiliate in Norfolk, Va.: director of marketing and programming.
“Basically this is a title change for me,” said Tudor, “but it is also a shift in focus as well. My general manager and I felt it was better to make my position more of a strategic position. I will now be more focused on over-all marketing of the station brand and products as well as working with sales to help clients better build their brands and products. In addition, I am taking on all of the programming responsibilities of the station and our subchannels.”
Sounds like Mr. Tudor going to be a busy man.
Here’s a recent weather app promo from WVEC.
Scott Perkins is the new VP, creative services director at WTTG, the Fox O&O in Washington.

Joshua Hedglin is the promotions manager at WJAC, the Sinclair NBC affiliate in Johnstown, Pa.
Hedglin had previously been a creative services producer at the station, and has a writing credit for the short film, Men of Steel.
