I think Brett and his staff did a pretty good job presenting this data.
“I’d say that this promo was challenging in that we had a lot of numbers but by themselves, the numbers weren’t compelling. And paper is not the most interesting of subjects. So the challenge was to use some creative mathematics and Google maps to figure out some fun, new ways of presenting the data.”
And here’s another one from my days at WINK in Fort Myers, Fla. For a special on what it’s like to be a teenager, I asked some high school students to be in the promo. Of course, their parents had to sign a talent release form.
Don’t forget to send me your May sweeps spots. Here’s what I need — a YouTube or Vimeo link to any examples you want to share, along with a short explanation about it if you want.
I’ll share one of mine everyday as well. Look for more examples every afternoon.
For competitive reasons, it might be best to submit only those promos that are already on your air. Make sure you get the permission of station management.
My email and phone number are at the top of the column.
