I saw these spots from KNTV, the NBC O&O serving the San Francisco Bay area, on a promo blog and wrote these comments.
Pretty simple yet powerful. Just talk to the people who do the investigations. Let them say what they do in their own words. No fancy graphics, no high end over-the-top production. Every TV station in the land can, and perhaps should, do spots just like this. It’s honest, straight-forward, believable, convincing.
Interesting campaign from WKYC, the Gannett-owned NBC affiliate in Cleveland.
And here are some solid spots from WBND, the ABC affiliate in South Bend owned by Weigel Broadcasting, that use examples of the station’s performance to bolster its claims.
