I know people use their cell phones to text, (that’s the only way I can communicate with my kids), to check their email and to see who’s doing what on Facebook. And occasionally, some people use their cell phone to actually talk to somebody.
But when they’re not doing any of that, 60% of phone users say they use their phone to shop.
How much do they spend?
Total spending via mobile this holiday season is projected to be about $20 billion overall.
And almost all (90%) smartphone owners use their phones in bed and 81% use them in the bathroom.
