When NBC’s Saturday Night Live came on the air back in 1975, (I know, many of you readers weren’t even born yet), it was truly must-see-TV. I can remember being at parties where the hosts would complain that the guests were watching TV instead of dancing.
When I look at these skits from SNL and compare them to days of yore, these are more polished and sophisticated, have better production value, but are still cutting-edge funny.
My only problem with SNL these days is the time the show airs. Who can stay up until 11:30 to watch TV? I know, all you folks who weren’t born until after 1975.
Here are some segments from this past weekend’s show that prove that SNL is still as funny, and perhaps funnier, on Monday morning.
