KSBW, Hearst’s NBC affiliate in the Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz market of California, has the No. 1-rated newscast in every time period, seven days a week, extending its record of ratings dominance to 61 consecutive years.
Personally, I don’t think that’s fair. You get to live in a beautiful area along the coast of California and dominate the news ratings?
How dominant are we talking? Of the 50 highest-rated programs in November, 40 of them were on KSBW.
“Sign-on to sign-off,” says Ed Everest, KSBW’s creative services director in a press release, “KSBW is pound-for-pound the most-watched English-language television station Monday through Sunday in both ratings and shares among persons 25-54.”
Not much else to add to that except show the promo.
