In Detroit, cars rule. And the city has hosted a car show for more than a century. So when the car show comes to town, that’s big news.
Friday night, WDIV takes car enthusiasts to the floor of the North American International Auto Show, (NAIAS). Not just any car show, NAIAS is one of the most prestigious auto shows in the world.
WDIV, the NBC affiliate owned by Graham Media Group, will broadcast a one-hour special starting at 8, Dateline Detroit: All About Autos.
Highlights include the amazing technology in today’s vehicles and how it keeps families safe, the newest unveilings, the state of the auto industry and the latest trends in car colors. There’s even a free app attendees can use that puts everything they need to enjoy the show right at their fingertips.
Prior to the car show, WDIV will also air a special charity event at 7 to benefit a wide range of children’s charities. The special will showcase concept cars of the future as the hosts talk to the power players who make the event happen.
