For the past few weeks, Chris O’Neal has struggled to find his way to work, although he’s lived in the same market for seven years.
O’Neal is now the new creative services director at WNEP, the Tribune-owned ABC affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pa.
O’Neal had been the creative services director at the CBS/NBC duopoly in town. Before that, he was a CSD in Terre Haute, Ind.
He says what’s impressed him so far at WNEP is the ease of work flow.
“Tribune has great engineers. Everything is integrated together — news footage, promotion, master control.”
O’Neal recently checked off an activity on his bucket list: He played Judas in a local theater production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Recently made a hire or taken a new gig in TV marketing?
Let me share the news. My email and phone number are always at the top of the column.
Here are some examples of Chris O’Neal’s work.
