There’s a running rivalry between the cities of Raleigh and Charlotte in North Carolina. Both places seem to alternate on the Best Places to Live lists.
Now Rob Thomas enters the fray. He says he might have to eat a little crow.
Rob Thomas is the new creative services director for WBTV, Raycom’s CBS affiliate in Charlotte. He was formerly the creative services director at WNCN, the NBC affiliate in Raleigh owned by Media General.
Thomas can keep his North Carolina driver’s license and the ride from Raleigh to Charlotte is only 160 miles. Thomas starts June 22.
