The CW affiliate in Miami owned by Tribune, WSFL, has named Ardis Gonzalez Leon creative director.
Marilyn Hansen, WSFL’s station manager, said: “Her almost 20 years of experience in the industry, the majority being in the South Florida market, will give her the ability to jump in and hit the ground running.”
Prior to joining WSFL, Leon worked at both WTVJ and WFOR in Miami where she received a Promax/BDA Gold Award and two Emmy Awards. Leon also spent time at KCBS in Los Angeles.
“Ardis is uniquely suited to the position with her extensive management background in both promotion and community affairs,” Hansen added.
