Those of us of a certain age remember watching The Munsters on CBS back in the 1960s.
A send up of horror movies and a parody of the wholesome family life of the time, The Munsters aired 70 episodes.
The actor who portrayed little Eddie Munster, Butch Patrick, maintains a website and makes personal appearances around the world.
This Saturday, diginet Cozi TV will air a Munsters marathon from noon through midnight.
One iconic episode, A Man for Marilyn, has been reconstructed around originally composed songs using dialogue from the show to create a first-of-its kind for TV.
The already-released songs, What’s Wrong With Me? and Grandpa Makes A Prince, are highlights of the episode, which airs at 8 and 11 p.m. ET during The Munsters Marathon Halloween Party.
“No one’s ever done this before on TV,” said Meredith McGinn, Cozi senior vice president, “so we can’t wait for fans to see it and sing along.”
