I admit that I’m not in Taylor Swift’s demo. I’m old and a guy. I get it.
But I also realize that when Taylor Swift comes to town to perform, for Swifties, that’s a big deal. (Swifties is how Taylor Swift fans refer to themselves).
Like Halloween night in Tampa when close to 60,000 of them jammed into an outdoor stadium to see Swift perform in the largest costume party the city has seen.
To welcome Swift to town, the anchors from WTVT, the Fox O&O there, created and aired a 30-second video of themselves lip-syncing to one of Swift’s songs.
(If you go to YouTube, like I did, and search Wildest Dreams, by Taylor Swift, you’ll discover many funny parodies to her song, as well as the official video to her song which has been seen by more than 176 million people. That’s a lot of Swifties).
