WMAR, the Scripps ABC affiliate in Baltimore, is airing an hour-long special tonight at 7 focusing on the heroin epidemic in Maryland.
Community in Crisis: Chasing The High will be anchored by WMAR’s Jamie Costello and Kelly Swoope with support from the entire ABC2 News team.
“I have a teenager,” said Kelly Groft, WMAR’s news director. “My hope is that moms and dads will sit down with their families to watch this, and then start a conversation about the dangers, of not only heroin, but all drugs.”
Community in Crisis: Chasing The High will also stream live online on WMAR’s website, at abc2news.com/live.
