TVNewsCheck is looking for exterior beauty shots of your TV station. In a recent article, Picture This: Beauty Shots of Your TV Station, we requested current pictures, old photos and any unique or interesting stories that you’d like to share.

I got a note and some pictures from Derek Rogers, the general manager of WCBI, Morris Multimedia’s CBS affiliate in Columbus, Miss.
“Paul, I have attached our current facility pic — a renovated downtown Columbus, MS department store,” he wrote.
“We moved in October of 1993. But I also attached the old facility which was located literally in a cow pasture about six miles from town.
“One cinder block studio building and each department was located in a mobile home. When we ran out of room, we added another mobile home. We even had a cat (Max) that lived on the set, and he kept the mice away. And legend has it that during a live commercial a cow actually walked into the studio and on the air! It was certainly a unique place to work! But it was a lot of fun.”
