WTAE, Pittsburgh’s ABC affiliate owned by Hearst, takes a new look at Flight 93, the plane that crashed in Shanksville, Pa., on 9/11.
Chronicle: 15 Years After Flight 93 shares the struggle of the families of the Flight 93 passengers and their determined mission to memorialize their loved ones.
Chronicle: 15 Years After Flight 93, an hour-long primetime special, airs tonight at 8.
“15 years later, the emotions from that day are still devastatingly raw,” said Chronicle host Sally Wiggin. “We are grateful to the families of the Flight 93 passengers for allowing us to share their journey.”
“The brave men and women onboard Flight 93 did more than fight back,” said Charles W. Wolfertz III, WTAE’s general manager. “They showed us the awe-inspiring depth of the American spirit and we’re honored to share the stories.”
