If you could talk with the mayor of your town or city, what would you want to know? What questions would you ask? What issues are of concern to you?
Schools, roads, taxes, the homeless, potholes?
And what if your questions and the mayor’s answers could be seen by viewers on television and online?
WNBC, the NBC O&O in New York, will air another episode of Ask the Mayor, this Sunday morning at 10. The quarterly public affairs program will also be streamed on NBCNewYork.com.
Moderated by WNBC News Anchor Chuck Scarborough and Government Affairs and I-Team Reporter Melissa Russo, Mayor Bill de Blasio discusses his views on a variety of topics facing New York City.
“Ask the Mayor is an excellent way to learn what is taking place at City Hall and how this impacts our viewers across the five boroughs of New York City,” said Eric Lerner, WNBC’s general manager.
Here are some viewer questions and the mayor’s response from April’s quarterly show.
