I watched many of the segments from this past weekend’s edition of Saturday Night Live on NBC and jotted down some notes that I thought I’d share.
One unfortunate casualty of the presidential election tomorrow will be that SNL won’t have both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump to make fun of anymore and that’s too bad.
Here’s what happened in the show:
Benedict Cumberbatch did a great job as guest host, appearing in quite a few sketches, including one with a Shaft-themed singalong.
Solange was sultry as the musical guest singing two numbers.
Alec Baldwin as Trump, kissed, on the lips, Putin, a KKK member, and an FBI agent.
Trump and Hillary reconcile and join hands to help mend the country.
Bill Murray and some Chicago Cubs made an appearance, as did Dana Carvey as the Church Lady.
There’s a skit about a new toilet design that makes users look cool while, well, you know.
And there’s a killer sketch about a surprise bachelorette party with male dancers.
