The holiday season is a time when even non-sweet tooth codgers like me might nibble on a cookie.
And for those with a sweet tooth, eating sweets is an all-year occupation.
WTAE, Hearst’s Pittsburgh ABC affiliate, is taking viewers on a tour of the city’s ‘sweet spots’ in a primetime special tomorrow night.
Chronicle: Bakeries of the ‘Burgh airs Wednesday night at 8. (And it looks as if the station streams episodes of Chronicle on its website after they air.)
“A bakery is one of the building blocks of a vibrant neighborhood,” said Chronicle host Sally Wiggin. “By telling these stories, we get to see the distinct tastes that all add color to the fabric of Pittsburgh.”
Aaah, if you put your nose real close to this screen, you can almost smell fresh-baked chocolate cookies coming out of the oven.
