“I am a regular reader of your Market Share section on TVNewsCheck.com and after years of enjoying other stations’ accolades, I finally have something I’d like to share with you,” wrote DeAnna Miller, WTAT’s director of creative services.
Now how could I ignore that?
WTAT, the Fox affiliate in Charleston, S.C., owned by Cunningham Broadcasting, is launching a half-hour newscast Monday evening at 6:30, the only local news airing in that time period.
In addition, WTAT will add a half-hour newscast Monday night at 11 called FOX24 News NOW.
FOX24 News NOW will feature in-studio guests and guests from outside the metro via Skype.
Both newscasts will be anchored by Leyla Gulen.
