My favorite part of the parade is the bagpipes, it reminds me of the unofficial anthem of all the Irish, Danny Boy, supposedly about a parent sending a son off to war.
Here’s a stirring rendition of the song by a 14-year-old boy who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent.
