KUSA, Tegna’s NBC affiliate in Denver, was named Station of the Year by the National Press Photographers Association.
It’s the 13th time the station has earned the honor in the large market category.
The award recognized excellence in television photography and editing.
“This team of talented visual journalists captures the moments that impact us all,” said Christy Moreno, KUSA’s news director.
“They show us the people, the emotion, and the stories that reveal the character of all Coloradans. I’m so proud that we continue to foster an environment of creativity and collaboration that both promotes and expects excellence year after year.”
