WFTS Tampa, Fla., has debuted an issue-focused news program that airs on Sunday mornings. Full Circle Florida is an opportunity to take the time to go in-depth on the big stories of the week in the Tampa Bay region as well as across Florida.
WFTS, the Scripps ABC affiliate in Tampa, Fla., has introduced an issue-focused news program that airs Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and streams on ABC Action News PLUS and The Florida 24 Network.
Full Circle Florida is an opportunity to take the time to go in-depth on the big stories of the week in the Tampa Bay region as well as across Florida.
“We debate, we discuss, we challenge viewpoints” says Paul LaGrone, the progrm’s host. “At its best, this is a chance to not just recap the news you experienced this week, but to advance it forward, talking to the journalists who are telling the stories of our time and with the decision makers who are in a position of power and influence to affect the very issues we are reporting on and explaining.”
LaGrone will help break down the issues with local and national experts. The news program is purposefully designed to provide thoughtful coverage of current events, to inform and engage our viewers, and create real conversations from different perspectives. It will push for answers to the problems facing Tampa Bay from the decision makers themselves.
