The Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas, RTDNAC, announced its annual awards on Saturday night recognizing excellence in both broadcast and digital media in North Carolina and South Carolina.
You have to hand it to the folks at RTDNAC. There are about 30 categories of specific types of news coverage in two different TV sections with a first place and second place listing.
A college professor teaching TV journalism might think of having students watch the examples and write down what they think made them award-winning.
Here are five award winners in five categories from each TV of the two different TV sections. I’m guessing the difference might be large and small markets.
