WDSU, Hearst’s NBC affiliate in New Orleans, is moving Morgan Lentes to co-anchor WDSU News This Morning, starting Monday, March 4.
Lentes joined WDSU in 2020 from Hearst sister station WLKY Louisville, Ky. She began as a reporter before anchoring WDSU News on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
“From the moment I stepped foot in New Orleans, it has felt like home,” Lentes says. “I am so honored to be growing my role at WDSU. This opportunity is a dream come true.”
Anchor Randi Rousseau moves to WDSU News at Noon and WDSU News at 4 p.m.
“To join the ranks of our award-winning team in the afternoon is so exciting,” Rousseau says. “Our team at noon and 4 p.m. are exemplary journalists and I’m so proud to call them all friends and colleagues.”
Rousseau is a native to the area and a graduate of Southeast Louisiana University. She began her broadcast career as an intern at WDSU in 2006 and returns to the 4 p.m. newscast which she helped launch in 2009.
