The Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists held its annual awards presentation on April 20, where winners and finalists in 117 categories were named in large, medium and small markets. More than 55 radio and television stations submitted more than 650 entries in the contest, which featured content produced in the year 2023.

Action News Jax, the branding name of Cox Media Group’s WJAX and WFOX, the CBS and Fox affiliates in Jacksonville, was named the Overall Station of the Year in the medium TV market category.

Cox Media’s WOKV-FM 104.5 was named the Overall Station of the Year statewide.
